GO-SPAS MAX TABLET Mefenamic acid & Drotavarine Tablets
Composition : Each film coated tablet contains Mefenamic Acid 250 mg & Drotavarine Hydrochloride 80 mg
Indications :
  • Primary & Secondary Dysmenorrhoea
  • Post Surgical Uterine Spasm
  • Uterine irritability and pain associated with IUCD insertion, dilatation and curettage, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease or HSG
  • Gastro-Intestinal Colic, Renal Colic, Biliary Colic
Contraindications : Hypersensitivity to Mefenamic Acid, Drotavarine or excipients; severe renal or hepatic failure; severe cardiac insufficiency (low output syndrome) and heart failure; children under 1-year old; inflammatory bowel disease, history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation related to previous NSAIDs therapy.
Adverse Effects : Mefenamic acid: Peptic Ulcers, perforation or GI bleeding, sometimes fatal, dyspepsia, abdominal pain, melaena, hematemesis, ulcerative stomatitis, exacerbation of colitis and Crohn’s disease).
Drotavarine: Rare (≥ 0.01 and <0.1%) palpitations, hypotension, headache, vertigo, insomnia, nausea, constipation, allergic reaction (Angioedema, Urticaria, Rash, Pruritus).
Dosage : The usual dose of Go-Spas Max tablet is one tablet twice daily.
