| Composition : |
250 mg: Each tablet contains 250 mg Azithromycin as (Dihydrate.)
500 mg: Each tablet contains 500 mg Azithromycin as (Dihydrate.) |
| Indications : |
Azimed Tablet is used to treat infections caused by bacteria, such as respiratory Infections, Skin Infections, Ear Infections, and Sexually Transmitted Diseases.

| Contraindications : |
Hypersensitivity to Azithromycin, Erythromycin, any macrolide or ketolide antibiotic, or to any of the excipients.

| Adverse Effects : |
Diarrhea, Headache, vomiting, abdominal pain, nausea, decrease in lymphocytes (white blood cells) in the blood, increased blood levels of eosinophils, basophils, monocytes, neutrophils (white blood cells), decreased bicarbonate in the blood. |
| Dosage : |
500 mg orally as a single dose on day 1, followed by 250 mg orally once a day on days 2 to 5
