ESOMED 40 TABLET

ESOMED 40 TABLET	Esomeprazole Magnesium 40 mg Tablets

Composition :	Each tablet contains Esomeprazole 40 mg (as Esomeprazole Magnesium amorphous).
Indications :	Esomed Tablet is used to treat symptoms of Gastro Esophageal Reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions involving excessive stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Esomeprazole is also used to promote healing of Erosive Esophagitis (damage to your esophagus caused by stomach acid)
Contraindications :	Atrophic Gastritis, Poor metabolizer due to Cytochrome p450 CYP2C19 Variant, Severe Liver Disease, Interstitial Nephritis, Clostridium difficile bacteria related colitis, Osteoporosis, Broken Bone, Inadequate Vitamin B12, low amount of magnesium in the blood.
Adverse Effects :	Headache, abdominal pain, diarrhea and nausea.
Dosage :	The recommended initial dosage is Esomed Tablet 40 mg twice daily. The dosage should be individually adjusted and treatment continued as long as clinically indicated.
