ACETIL -75/100 TABLET	Acetylsalicylic Acid 75 mg/100 mg Tablets
Composition :	75 mg: Each tablet contains 75 mg Acetylsalicylic acid (Aspirin). 100 mg: Each tablet contains 100 mg Acetylsalicylic acid (Aspirin).
Indications :	Indications related to inhibition of platelet aggregation: To reduce the risk of myocardial infarction in patients with unstable angina or in patients who have had a previous myocardial infarction. To reduce the risk of recurrent transient ischemic attacks or stroke in men who have had transient ischemia of the brain due to fibrin platelet emboli. To reduce the risk of graft occlusion following aortocoronary by-pass surgery.
Contraindications :	In patients with peptic or duodenal ulcers, hemophilia, thrombocytopenia or other bleeding tendencies, or intolerance (hypersensitivity) to Acetylsalicylic Acid or other salicylcates, severe renal impairment and patients receiving oral anti-coagulant therapy. Acetil should not be taken during pregnancy and lactation, except under the advice and supervision of a medical doctor.
Adverse Effects :	Dizziness, irritation of the gastric mucosa and resultant dyspepsia, erosion, ulceration, hematemesis, and melaena.
Dosage :	The usual dosage, for long term use, is 75-150 mg once daily. In some circumstances a higher dose may be appropriate, especially in the short term, and up to 300 mg a day may be used.
