| Composition : | Tranexamic acid 500 mg/5 ml |
| Indications : | In patients with hemophilia for short-term use (two to eight days) to reduce or prevent hemorrhage and reduce the need for replacement therapy during and following tooth extraction. |
| Contraindications : | In patients with acquired defective color vision, subarachnoid hemorrhage, active intravascular clotting and hypersensitivity to tranexamic acid or any of the ingredients. |
| Adverse Effects : | Gastrointestinal disturbances (nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea) may occur but disappear when the dosage is reduced. Allergic dermatitis, giddiness, and hypotension have been reported occasionally. |
| Dosage : | The recommended standard dose is 5-10 ml by slow intravenous injection at a rate of 1ml/minute, two to three times daily. |
