| Indications : | Infections caused by pathogens sensitive to ceftriaxone such as

| Contraindications : | In patients with allergy to Cephalosporin. In patients hypersensitive to penicillin, the possibility of allergic cross reactions should be borne in mind. |
| Adverse Effects : | Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting; neutropenia, eosinophilia, anemia, rash, pruritus, fever, chills, local reactions (e.g. pain, induration, ecchymosis, tenderness at inj site). Rarely, pancreatitis, hypoprothrombinaemia. |
